What's Coming Up in Aledo?

The City of Aledo would like to announce information on the following event(s):

“First Friday” Concerts Sparkle under the Summer Sky in Old Town Aledo
Music lovers, late night shoppers and foodie fans seeking relief from long weeks and short nerves will find the perfect relaxed, soothing tempo during Old Town Aledo’s “First Fridays,” a free concert series presented on the first Friday of each month by merchants and restaurants in the historic railroad town. Concert venues located throughout Aledo’s charming downtown district will provide entertainment designed for the whole family and Old Town Aledo’s unique restaurants and shops will keep in tune by welcoming guests until 10 pm.
Crowds will begin to gather under live oaks strung with twinkle lights at 6 p.m. to dine, stroll the town’s century-old wooden sidewalks and shaded streets, and visit Old Town Aledo’s family-owned businesses and their unique fashion, gifts, and home furnishing collections.  Family friendly amusements, like free two step and line dancing lessons, portraits on ponies and period-style photographs, or drawings for valuable spa services and framed art, will be offered throughout the town.
Old Town Aledo is located on FM 1187, two miles south of Interstate 20, exit 420, just minutes from Fort Worth and Weatherford.
